Help...I Just Can't Figure It Out
If you just can't figure out how to do it on your own (above video), please fill out the form below and email it brit.medicareexperts@gmail.com or fax it to us at 919-400-4252 and we'll do the analysis for you. Please be patient as we may have dozens of requests pending at any given time). Special Features of Medicare Part D

Maximum Out Of Pocket (MOOP for 2026)
The maximum out of pocket (MOOP) limit in 2025 was $2000. It is expected to be $2100 in 2026 so very little change is expected. The good part is that this is also inclusive of the annual deductible ($590 in 2025 and expected to be $615 in 2026) so for those on expensive medications, this is a lifeline.
Consequently though, this low MOOP is causing Medicare Part D premiums to rise substantially as the government put the entire burden on the insurance companies with no assistance. So while everyone has much better high end protection from out of control drug costs, the premiums across the board continues to increase and the national average is now nearing $60 per month.

Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3P)
Medicare Part D has a new feature that you can sign up for (please do NOT try to sign up before your new plan starts in January or later of 2025) but if it's evident you're going to hit your max out of pocket on Part D (see above link about Donut Hole changes), you can sign up for a plan that will level out your cost for the whole year so you're not getting hit all at the beginning of the year in deductible and copays.
