Update for Our Aetna Value HMO Clients
Annual Election Period Oct 15 - Dec 7, 2024
Dear Friend,
I hope this letter finds you in great health. It has been a pleasure serving you and I sincerely wish you continued good health and happiness.
I wanted to reach out regarding some significant changes in the Medicare landscape. The Federal Government is currently implementing substantial cuts to the Medicare Advantage program, leading to increased premiums and reduced benefits for many plans across the country. However, I have excellent news for you regarding your current plan:
Your Aetna Value HMO Medicare Advantage Plan:
-
Virtually Unchanged Benefits: Your plan remains one of the few that has not passed these cuts onto its beneficiaries. The benefits continue to be robust with little to no reductions.
-
Extensive Network: Your network with your plan has not cut doctor access. Unlike other plans that are severely cutting network access, you should continue to have access to your preferred doctors and specialists.

My Recommendation: Given these points, my strong recommendation is to stay on your current plan. You do not need to take any action as your plan will automatically renew for the coming year.
Important Note: If you are considering changes, please remember:
-
Do Not Switch Agents: Should you decide to work with another agent, you will lose my personalized guidance and protection. This includes talking to phone agents from the insurance companies as well. I am committed to your well-being and ensuring you remain with the best possible plan.
-
Be Wary of Tactics: Other agents might use misleading tactics, such as highlighting minor benefits of other plans while downplaying significant deficiencies. Remember, I have access to all plans and always aim for your best interest. If a change is necessary, let's discuss it to ensure it's the right move for you.
-
Understand the Trade-offs: Plans offering additional perks like grocery cards often compensate by cutting healthcare benefits. Medicare allocates equal funding to all plans; thus, any extra given away comes at the expense of healthcare services.
Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty. Your satisfaction is my priority, and I would be grateful if you could refer friends or family who might benefit from our services. I’ve included a few extra business cards.
Please feel free to contact us at any time if you have questions or wish to discuss your options further.
On a personal note, I must share with you that recently, I experienced a profound loss—my mother passed away. During this difficult time, I've been touched by the outpouring of love and support from all of you. Your kindness has been a beacon of light. Through your support over the years, I learned invaluable lessons on coping with the challenges of Alzheimer's, which helped me cherish every remaining moment with my mother. www.yourmedicareexperts.com/mom
Your empathy and understanding have not only helped me but also enriched my approach in providing care and support to each one of you. Thank you for being part of my personal journey.
Warm regards,
Eric
